DSCs are valid for 1, 2, or 3 years and stop working the moment they expire — which is a bad time to discover it, usually mid-filing on a deadline day. Our renewal service re-verifies your identity, reissues the certificate (onto your existing token where possible, or a new one if needed), and re-registers it on the portals you use.

What you get
  • Existing USB token can often be reused if it's in good working condition and not too old, saving you the cost of a new one
  • We proactively remind clients ahead of expiry so renewal isn't a last-minute scramble
  • Re-registration on GST, MCA, Income Tax, DGFT handled as part of the renewal — not left to you to redo manually
Who this is for
  • Anyone with an existing DSC that has expired or is approaching expiry
  • Applies to both Individual and Organisation DSCs
Paperwork

Documents required

  • 01Existing DSC / token details
  • 02Updated PAN and Aadhaar (or organisation documents, for Organisation DSC)

Workflow

How it works

  1. 01

    Expiry and token check

Confirm expiry date and whether your existing token can be reused.

  2. 02

    Fresh e-KYC + video verification

Required for every renewal, not just first issuance.

  3. 03

    Certificate reissuance

Renewed certificate issued — either reloaded onto your existing token or a new token if required.

  4. 04

    Portal re-registration

GST, MCA, Income Tax, DGFT — renewal generates a new certificate serial number, so re-registration is necessary.

  5. 05

    Cleanup

Old, expired certificate details cleared from your records.

Realistic timeline

1–2 working days from completed verification, provided you start the process before expiry — renewing after expiry follows the same timeline but you'll be unable to sign anything in the gap.

When the 1-hour turnaround applies

Our "DSC in 1 hour" claim covers a Class 3 Individual DSC for Indian citizens who walk into our Nagavara office between 10 AM and 3 PM (Mon–Sat) with a valid PAN, an Aadhaar linked to an active mobile number, and are able to complete the Certifying Authority's video verification on the spot. It assumes CCA and Aadhaar UIDAI systems are up and OTPs are received on the first attempt.

  • Organisation, DGFT, ICEGATE, FSSAI and Foreign/NRI DSCs need extra verification and typically take longer — see the timeline above.
  • Doorstep pickup, courier delivery, or after-hours requests add ~4 hours on top of the 1-hour issuance window.
  • Portal outages at the CCA, UIDAI or Certifying Authority are outside our control and can extend timelines.
